About:

“We [should not] make the mistake of thinking that marriage will provide the ultimate satisfaction for which we all hunger. To assume so would be to be guilty of blasphemy. Only God satisfies the hungry heart. Marriage is but one of the channels He uses to enable us to taste how deeply satisfying His thirst-quenching grace can be.”
(Sinclair B. Ferguson)

Welcome to my corner of the internet! Let’s get acquainted.

My husband and I met years ago, in high school, from what I remember anyways. Time went on, we both married and divorced, and in 2016 we started talking on Facebook. After a fast courtship, we got married. We are going on 9 years of marriage now. It’s been one heck of a ride but I am blessed and love every moment. Yes, even the hard ones.

First and foremost, we are servants of Christ. We became Christians in 2020, the year of COVID. God graciously opened our eyes to His goodness around the same time and we have been growing together ever since. Of course, with trials along the way.

Vocationally, my husband is a lineman and I am an ER nurse. We are parents. We are soon to be grandparents. Most recently, we are becoming foster parents with the hope to adopt and be a light to those who need it. (My daughter says I’m a “crunchy” mom. That was a new term for me but I’m here for it!)

My hope is to encourage you. We live in a world filled with challenges but with Christ we can navigate those challenges with grace and reflect the boundless love of Christ. Our lives are a testament to His grace and I can’t wait to share it all with you.
